Vitor was born in Aracaju, Brazil, in 1983. He received his BSc degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Campina Grande (UFCG) in 2007. He was then selected by a French Brazilian student interchange program to move to France. From 2007 to 2009 he joined the Ecole Superieur d’Ingenieur en Systemes Avances (Esisar) where he obtained a degree in Embedded Electronics Systems Engineering. At the same time, he obtained a masters degree in optics and radio frequency from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble.
In 2009, he started his PhD in Optics Radio Frequency at the Institut de Microelectronique et photonique in Grenoble, developing tunable electronics matching networks on PCB and CMOS for two standards; WiFi (2,4 GHz) and low CDMA (900MHz).
In 2012, immediately after obtain his PhD degree, he joined Multitoll Solutions in Paris, a company specialising in electronic toll collection. He was responsible for the design of the antennas and the RF electronics for toll systems in two standards; RFID and DSRC.
In August 2015, he moved to London and joined Drayson Technologies as RF Product Engineer.
